I am very glad I met Kevin and Jack who are the founder of Meet Me in New York. I invite them to my events. And one day they say can I interview you. They want to feature a column about Creative New Yorker. And I said YES. Kevin did all the web design and Jack wrote the story. They are cool people. Their blog features stories, news and events all over New York in English and Mandarin. This is a good relationship to myself and to them.

Elle and Pamela Shoot Part I

Finally have some time to add a post about working with Elle and Pamela. It was nice meeting them. Three people operations actually work out pretty well. (well maybe say four cuz Nick is included). Elle has really great ideas. She is a very specific but I like that because sometimes models has no ideas at all. Pamela did very good makeup with every look, fast and amazing. I would love to work with them in the future. Here are some nice shots.

Mimi Braids Hair Show

This Saturday, I did a great photo shoot for Mimi Braids Hair Show. I was hesitating should I go or not since it is so far from the city. It is in some country side part of New Jersey called Totowa. But gladly, I did go. There were four photographers altogether including me. The other three are very senior and experienced photographers. They do not hesitate to teach a young photographer like me. The hair stylist was done by Mimi Braids. She did amazing jobs. Models are great too. We take some outdoor shoots and indoor shoots. The other photographers set up a mobile studio at the dressing rooms. I used their soft box and we took turns to take photos, which was very fun. It was quite a valuable experience. I think I get some nice shots.
